Saturday the 31st of August and Sunday the 1st of September 2019, as part of the 75th anniversary of the liberation of the City of Mons by the 3rd U.S. Armored Division and the 1st U.S. Infantry Division, the City of Mons and Tanks in Mons organize their annual concentration of armored WWII vehicles.
For the success of this event, and following the official request of the authorities and former combatants associations , kakhi uniforms (or preferably period uniforms) are required. SMOKE, motley or modern camouflaged uniforms are STRICTLY PROHIBITED.
German uniforms are only allowed if authorisation is given by the organisation !
Only allied period vehicles are allowed. Post war vehicles are submitted to special conditions : U.S. or Resistance markings - crew with allied WWII uniforms or civil period clothes.
ATTENTION : restricted number of registrations.
The registration fee is 15 € (to be confirmed) for any person (owner, driver, pedestrian, isolated).
The fee gives you full access to the camp, the bivouac, the Flea Market and the Sunday parade.
For tracked vehicles over 15 tons, please take contact with the organization (Pierre Deghaye).
No problems for rubber tracks. Metal tracks are accepted under certain conditions. If you are interested to come to Mons and that your vehicle is equipped with metal tracks, please send us a picture of the track and the vehicle weight.
